The ETB System enables two-way, half-duplex emergency voice communication between passengers and the loco pilot or authorised control-centre personnel.
In an emergency, the passenger presses the emergency call button to initiate voice communication with the loco pilot or authorised personnel.
It can be used during medical emergencies, security concerns, or other critical situations where a passenger needs to communicate with the operating staff.
Depending on the system configuration, the call can be received by the loco pilot or authorised control-centre personnel.
