Frequently Asked Questions

MOIS detects pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users within defined areas in front of the vehicle, particularly when the vehicle is moving off from a stationary position.

When a person or object is detected in the monitored area, the system provides both visual and audible alerts. A dedicated indicator display provides the visual warning, accompanied by an audible alert to notify the driver.

In buses, the driver is seated at a greater height, which can make it difficult to see a child, animal, or object positioned immediately in front of the vehicle. MOIS helps detect such hazards before the vehicle moves off.

The MOIS sensor is typically installed on the front bumper area of the bus to monitor the zone immediately ahead of the vehicle.
